Boseong Cho
Cellist
Cellist Boseong Cho (1991) belongs to the younger generation of Korean musicians. He studied cello under Professor Lee Kang-hon at the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul, South Korea and Professor Ulf Tischbirek at the Lübeck Academy of Music in Germany .
In a short time he became a respected artist.
He was selected as a co-cellist at the Tanglewood Music Festival (TMC) in Boston and was invited to music festivals around the world: Tenerife Music International Festival in Spain, Classical Beat Festival in Germany, Tongyeong International Music Festival in Korea, Viva International Cello Festival in Switzerland and Euro art Music Festival .
He regularly participates in various concerts of chamber music, baroque, romanticism and modern music.
He cooperates with institutions such as Kronberg Academy, Euro Academy of Arts and others in the USA, Korea and Europe.
He most recently performed Dvořák's Cello Concerto with the London City Philharmonic Orchestra and has been recognized at numerous international competitions, including the London International Concerto Competition and the Jeonju International Cello Competition.
He currently holds the position of cellist of the Slovak National Philharmonic and is actively involved in the professional music scene, performing as a guest in orchestras and as a soloist and chamber player in Korea, the USA and Europe.
