Lucia Harvanová

Lucia Harvanová (b. 1991) started playing the violin at the age of 4. In playing the violin, she became the absolute winner of the Ivan Balla competition in Dolný Kubín (2002). She studied at the Conservatory in Bratislava in the class of Mgr. art. S. Muchu
(2006-2012). During her studies, she performed as a soloist with the conservatory orchestra in Bach's double concerto in the hall of the Slovak Reduta. In 2010, she won the 2nd prize at the Competition of Slovak Conservatories. She completed her bachelor's studies at the VŠMU in Bratislava, during which she performed as a soloist with the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra with a violin concerto
A. Dvořák under the baton of R. Štúr.
In 2017, she completed her master's degree with honors in Musik und Kunst
Privatuniversität Wien in the class of the world-famous soloist Julian Rachlin.
In 2014, she performed on
benefit concert in Vienna "Julian Rachlin and Friends Foundation" where she performed
in the Bach Double Concerto with Julian Rachlin and the Vivaldi Concerto with Julian Rachlin
and young world violinists Fumiaki Miura and Albrecht Menzel. Rich orchestral and
she drew chamber experience in Slovak and foreign symphonic and chamber ensembles, such as
for example Camerata Orphica, Philharmonie Salzburg, Wurth Philharmonic. He also devotes himself intensively to
chamber music in the duo of violin and harp with renowned harpist Michal Matejčík, and
also in the international grouping of a violin and percussion duo with a virtuoso on percussion instruments
Kiril Stoyanov (Bulgaria). In the 2021/22 season, she was the concert master of the orchestra of the Slovak National Theater, currently she is a permanent member of the orchestra of the Slovak Philharmonic. He is also engaged in teaching activities, since 2022 he has been working as a violin teacher at the State Conservatory in Bratislava.
